Boaters are in for a delightful experience at Telegraph Harbour Marina on Thetis Island. The marina was recently purchased by a young couple, who are themselves boaters, and extend a warm, heartfelt welcome to visitors. Their four young children add to the friendly, family atmosphere and appreciate meeting other children, family members, and boaters.

The new owners, Jamie & Jennifer White, have transformed this marina into a welcoming destination and have added many of the amenities boaters look for at a marina including quality gifts, local art, books, European specialty food items, and baked goods. And yes, the all-time favorite, hard ice cream. Picnic tables and flower pots adorn the property, with a separate dog run for pets. A large, covered area is available for group functions, as has been in years past.

Starlink was added in the spring of 2023 at the marina for fast internet connection, a valued convenience for boaters. Want to leave your boat in the Gulf Islands? Telegraph Harbour now offers winter moorage, with boat-watch maintenance services. Future plans include installing a dinghy dock for those anchored out who wish to visit the Marina Store and the nearby Howling Wolf Farm Stand, and the Farmers Market held on Saturdays.

When anchored out in Clam Bay, boaters will need to access Telegraph Harbour via “The Cut,” a drying pass connecting the Harbour with Clam Bay, suitable only for dinghies and small craft at high tide. Anchorage is also available in Preedy Harbour on the southwest corner of Thetis Island, best in settled weather. To take in all the fun and friendly atmosphere, however, you will want to call ahead for moorage at Telegraph Harbour Marina.

You can expect to find new energy and a warm welcome at Telegraph Harbour Marina, a great destination for family fun and lasting memories.
