The Seattle Boat Show offers hundreds of boats on display that are available for purchase including sailboats, sport boats, fish boats, and trawler-style yachts. Boat dealers are ready to offer special boat-show pricing and answer all your questions about the boating life style.

Who wouldn’t love to anchor in a scenic, peaceful cove, or tie-up at a lovely marina or community dock leaving the world’s troubles behind? There’s something special about being at sea and the ambiance of your own transportation afloat.

Speaking of ambiance, come enjoy Friday nights (Jan. 30 and Feb. 6) at the Seattle Boat Show and soak up the ambiance of soft blue lighting and warm magenta accents in West Hall of Lumen Field. Lights inside each vessel will be aglow for that warm onboard feel during an evening anchorage. The other three halls – Concourse, East, and North will be offering live music and drink stations. Get your “After Dark” ticket HERE for $25, which includes one drink from any of the “pour stations” from 5-8 pm.

Boat Show Schedule. You will want to spend several days at the Seattle boat Show to find that boat of your dreams and purchase accessories at this one-shop venue. Equipment and boats are displayed at Lumen Field Event Center in Seattle (800 Occidental Ave. S.) and in-water vessels displayed at Bell Harbor Marina (2203 Alaskan Way). A Free Shuttle Bus runs between the two show venues.

  • Fridays 11 am – 9 pm
  • Saturday, Jan. 31, 10 am – 8 pm
  • Sunday, Feb. 1, 10 am – 6 pm
  • Mon-Thur., 11 am – 7 pm
  • Sat., Feb. 7, 10 am – 8 pm

Note: The In-Water show at Bell Harbor Marina closes each day at 5 pm.

Seminars and Classes. Class instruction and short seminars are another highlight at the Seattle Boat Show. You will find a wealth of helpful boating information presented by experienced local boaters. Free, short one-hour presentations allow attendees to divide their time between shopping and participating in classrooms. Topics include Cruising Alaska, Cruising BC, Tides & Currents, Maneuvering Strategies, Docking, Anchoring, Fishing topics, and boat maintenance topics.

More in-depth instruction is offered thru Boat Show University Classes, which require a purchased ticket online and includes show admission. Topics include Offshore Cruising, Cruising Southeast Alaska (various segments), Medicine at Sea, Desolation Sound & The Broughton Archipelago, Cruising the Outside, Maintenance, Marine Weather, and more.

Special Events. Check out all the special boat show features at seattleboatshow.com, including “2 For 1 Tuesday,” “Bubbly on Sunday,” “Dogs on Deck,” and “Fridays After Dark.”

Tickets. Young mariners 17 yrs. and under get in free. Adult tickets are $20 with an option to purchase a 9-Day Pass for $40. Active and Former Military get in free on February 4 with Military ID.
