Are you an active boater that spends much of the summer exploring anchorages and visiting marinas? Do you love collecting information and keeping notes for future visits? Then you have what it takes to be a volunteer Field Correspondent.

As a Waggoner Field Correspondent, we provide you with the latest edition of the Waggoner Cruising Guide and a copy of Ports & Passes, along with other perks like tickets to the Seattle Boat Show and free admittance to Waggoner classes and seminars as a thank you for your dedicated work in the field – gathering updates for the next edition of the Waggoner Guide.

Photos are helpful when documenting information, and your photos are also welcomed for inclusion in the Waggoner. Reviewing dock diagrams in the Waggoner is another fun activity for volunteers scouting the marinas for updates. Or perhaps discovering and documenting new anchorages to include in the Waggoner Guide is your preferred focus of activity.

If you enjoy writing about people, places, boating topics and adventures, then we invite you to submit articles of interest that may be published on the Waggoner website, distributed as eNews, and/or included as a “side-bar” in the Waggoner Cruising Guide.

Being a Field Correspondent can add another dimension and purpose to your seasonal boating, combining fun with work on the water. You will be part of the well-known and respected Waggoner Team and receive recognition for your efforts in the Waggoner Guide. If you are interested in joining this fun group and serving as a volunteer Field Correspondent, please contact Lorena and Leonard Landon, Managing Editors, at llandon@waggonerguide.com
