Whether you’re refining your skills, building upon your skills, or want to refresh your boating knowledge, then be sure to sign up for the “Boating Seminar for Cruisers” workshop presented by Voyage Makers Coastal Adventures. This two-day seminar will definitely help reset your “Skipper’s Mindset” for the start of your cruising season.

This seminar/workshop, designed for recreational boaters, is being held from 10 am to 5 pm on April 25 and April 26 at beautiful Brentwood Bay Resort & Marina on Brentwood Bay, BC. The seminar will help skippers improve docking, seamanship, and decision-making. Topics covered in the seminar/workshop include voyage planning, weather interpretation, risk assessment and crew evaluation, docking and boat handling in close-quarters, communication and leadership on board, and anchoring is reviewed among other tips and techniques.
This seminar pairs nicely with on-water training programs and certifications offered later in the season. Instructor Tracy Sarich, founder of Voyage Makers Coastal Adventures, builds her programs for cruisers navigating the complex waters of Coastal BC and the Pacific Northwest.
Power, sail, and multi-hull boat owners are encouraged to register for the April seminar/workshop HERE. Space is limited, so sign-up now to reserve your seat.
