Boats are like members of the family; we love them and care for them. No matter what make or model, we endear ourselves to them and know all their characteristics – how they handle under different sea conditions, what they need to perform at their best, and the joys they bring, as well as the challenges. When we meet other boaters with the same boat brand, we can’t help but compare notes and share stories of encouragement and insight – hence the creation of the boat-brand rendezvous. Here are a few rendezvous that are taking place at popular area destinations this spring and summer 2025.

Grand Banks Owners, May 7-11. The 2025 Puget Sound Grand Banks Rendezvous is being held at beautiful Roche Harbor Marina & Resort on San Juan Island. The kick-off party is Wednesday, May 7, with a full schedule of seminars, entertainment, and great food for 4 days of fun. The event concludes on Sunday, May 11th. The event is one of the largest gatherings of American Marine built boats, drawing the latest boats offered by Grand Banks Yachts, as well as the early classic woodies. Helmsman Owners Trawlers Club, May 9-12. Owners of Helmsman boats are gathering at beautiful Port Browning BC for their spring rendezvous. This is a great opportunity to share ideas on seamanship, anchoring, navigation, and best practices for coastal cruising. Helmsman owners can join the fun by registering HERE.
Kadey-Krogen Owners, June 6-8. Join fellow Northwest Kadey-Krogen owners at Sidney, B.C. for the annual social gathering. We love to talk about cruising the San Juan Islands, British Columbia, and Southeast Alaska; and of course, all things Kadey-Krogen. Nordic Tug Owners, June 5-7. A Nordic Tug village of boats will be gathering for their 2025 rendezvous at Poulsbo in Liberty Bay on Puget Sound. Originally settled by Scandinavians, Poulsbo has much to offer in the way of boutiques, art shops, great restaurants, and a waterfront park.
