New boat owners start out on the right track with the Ranger Tug/Cutwater “Delivery Experience” which includes two-full days of training and access to instructional videos and other benefits.
For those who may be hesitant about entering the boating lifestyle, Ranger Tug / Cutwater has made it easy with their well-equipped boats and hands-on training. After taking factory delivery of your new Cutwater or Ranger Tug, personnel from Fluid Motion LLC, the maker of Ranger Tugs and Cutwater boats, will spend a day with you going through the systems of the boat. Your second full-day is spent on the water with a factory captain who covers the operation of the boat. This “Delivery Experience” includes three days of complimentary moorage at Des Moines Marina, Ranger Tug’s Factory Delivery Center. Delivery includes a full tank of fuel and propane, and onboard safety equipment.
Ranger Tug provides ongoing support through their online, how-to videos called “As the Prop Turns” covering topics like anchoring, cruising from Washington to Alaska, Close-Quarters Maneuvering, Departures & Arrivals, and much more. The Ranger Tug website also includes “Frequently Asked Questions” and a link to the “Owner’s Forum” called Tugnuts, where you can share experiences and find additional resources.
Once you have completed training, you can explore the waters of the Pacific Northwest, some of the best cruising grounds in the world, or opt to go on one of the Ranger Tug organized cruises. Upon your return, the factory will pull your boat from the water and shrink wrap it to be shipped to your selling dealer if located elsewhere in the country; freight costs not included.
Ranger Tugs come fully equipped and ready to cruise with instrumentation already installed. The Northwest Edition features diesel heat and downrigger plugs and pads. Sport racks can accommodate SUPs, kayaks, bikes, a cargo box, or a life raft. Ranger Tugs and Cutwater boats are easily trailered to destinations across the continent, including the Great Loop and the Rideau Canal, another big benefit for Ranger Tug/Cutwater owners.
