Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle is once again serving as host for the Annual Downtown Sailing Series. This casual weekly summer regatta showcases the sport of sailing.

Dozens of boats of all sizes set sail from Elliott Bay Marina to cross in front of the Seattle skyline and run back to the marina. The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), Northwest Chapter is a charity partner, offering prize drawings and exclusive fundraising incentives at every race. Every dollar raised supports local Parkinson’s programs. Whether you’re racing on the water or cheering from the dock, your participation makes a difference. Power boaters are encouraged to participate by fundraising, spectating, and celebrating at post-race events.

Races are held on Thursdays: June 19th and 26th, every Thursday during the month of July, and on August 7th and 14th. Competitors may enter by showing up and checking in with the race committee on VHF 78A. If you wish to be timed and included in the results, display your race number. Notices to competitors will be posted on the official notice board at Elliott Bay Marina. For more information about the race rules and race course, click HERE.
