The Olympia Farmers Market**

This is one of the largest farmers markets in Puget Sound and also includes musicians and food vendors. The Olympia Farmers Market is located between Percival Landing and the Port of Olympia’s Swantown Marina. The market is open Thursdays through Sundays from April through October. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In November and December, the market is open Saturday and Sunday, and January through March on Saturday only. No pets allowed. It’s a ten-minute walk from Swantown Marina.

Broadway Farmers Market (Tacoma)**

Located near Tacoma’s historic Pantages Theater, the market has around 80 vendors. There are also hot food vendors, chef’s demos, and cafe seating. The Broadway Farmers Market is on Broadway between 9th and 11th Streets. It is open Thursdays, May through October, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It’s a fifteen-minute walk from Foss Harbor Marina or around a 12-minute link ride from Dock Street Marina.

Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market**

Set next to the fishing pier with plenty of water views, the market has around 70 vendors. There are also special events like Clutter to Cash and Food Truck-Ins, live music, and food vendors. The Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market is located next to the marina. It is open Saturdays, June through September, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and on Wednesdays, July through August, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s a one-minute walk from the City of Des Moines Marina.

Fremont Farmers Markets

The popular year-round market not only has local produce and goods, but antiques, vintage items, food trucks, art, and more. If you want to spend Sunday afternoon treasure hunting this is the market for you. The Fremont Farmers Market is at the corner of 3410 Evanston Ave North. Open Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nearby marinas are Fisherman’s Terminal and Elliot Bay Marina, both require a bus, taxi or Uber ride, around 15 to 20 minutes.

Ballard Farmers Market

Located in a historic area of Ballard this is “Seattle’s first year-round neighborhood” farmers market, which recently expanded to NW Market Street. Open Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Ballard Farmers Market is located at 22nd Ave NW and NW Market Street. Fisherman’s Terminal is the closest marina and is an 8-minute taxi or Uber ride.

Gig Harbor Waterfront Farmers Market**

Located in Skansie Brothers Park, which was recently renovated and is steps away from the harbor, the market also has chef demos, live entertainment, and fresh fish. The Gig Harbor Waterfront Farmers Market is open Thursdays, June 1 to August 31, from 3 to 7 p.m. The park is at the top of the city dock, and a short walk from Gig Harbor Boatyard & Marina and Arrabella’s Landing Marina.

Port Orchard Farmers Market**

Noted for being the “first open-air market in Kitsap County” the market, and also has food vendors. Open on Saturdays, mid-April to mid-October, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Port Orchard Farmers Market is located at the Port Orchard Waterfront Park with plenty of water views. It is a 6-minute walk from Port Orchard Marina.

Bremerton Farmers Market

The market has around 40 vendors, including food booths and live music. The Bremerton Farmers Market is located at Evergreen-Rotary Park, which has trails and access to the waterfront. The market is open on Thursdays, May to October, from  4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is a 10-minute bus ride, or 5-minute taxi or Uber ride from Bremerton Marina.

Poulsbo Farmers Market**

This year, the market has a new location at Gateway Fellowship, which is an 11-minute walk from Poulsbo Marina. The market includes live music, events like the Tomato Taste-Off and Harvest Dinner, chef demonstrations, and visiting authors. The Poulsbo Farmers Market is open on Saturdays, April 1 to December 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Kingston Farmers Market**

Located next to the marina at Mike Wallace Park, the market also includes live music, special events, and food vendors. The Kingston Farmers Market is open on Saturdays, May to mid-October, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The market is steps away from the marina.

Everett Farmers Market**

Everett has two markets, and the easiest one for boaters to get to is located at Boxcar Park. The market also has live music and food vendors. The Everett Farmers Market Boxcar Park location is open on Sundays, mid-May through mid-October, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It’s a very short walk from the Port of Everett Marina.

Coupeville Farmers Market**

Located on the Community Green, next to the Coupeville Library, the market also has crafts and food vendors. The Coupeville Farmers Market is open on Saturdays, April through October, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. From the Coupeville dock, walk up NW Alexander Street, past Coveland St., and it will be on the right next to the library.

Anacortes Farmers Market**

Located next to the historic Depot Arts Center, the market includes live music, food vendors and has special events like the Pie Festival and Holiday Market. The Anacortes Farmers Market is open on Saturday, May 6 to October 28, from 9 am to 2 p.m. and selected Saturdays during the winter. The market is on 7th St and R Ave. and is a 5-minute walk from Cap Sante Marina.

Bellingham Farmers Market

Bellingham has two farmers markets and the easiest one to get to for boaters is the one on Depot Square. The Bellingham market has been voted one of the top ten markets in the Pacific Northwest and is also one of the largest. The market also includes live music, food vendors, and chef demonstrations. The Bellingham Farmers Market is open on Saturdays, April through December, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and select dates in the Winter. The closest marina is Squalicum Harbor. During the summer months, the best way to get there is to take the courtesy shuttle at the marina, or a 7-minute Uber drive.

Port Angeles Farmers Market**

Located at the Gateway Pavilion in downtown, the market also has food vendors. The Port Angeles Farmers Market is open on Saturdays year-round, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is a 21-minute walk from Port Angeles Boat Haven and a 5-minute walk from the Port Angeles City Pier.

Lopez Island Farmers Market

Located on Village Road, the market also includes food vendors. The Lopez Island Farmers Market is open on Saturdays, May to September, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is a 20-minute walk from Lopez Islander Resort and Marina.

San Juan Island Farmers Market**

Located at the Brickhouse Plaza, the market also includes bike repair and haircut days, live music, and food vendors. The San Juan Island Farmers Market is at 150 Nichols St. It is open Saturdays, mid-April through mid-October, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It’s around an 8-minute walk from the Port of Friday Harbor.

On the Village Green in the small village of Eastsound, the market also includes food vendors, The Orcas Island Farmers Market is open on Saturdays, from May to September, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The easiest way to get there is they day-use only Eastsound County Dock.
