Waggoner Guide Flotilla Day 13

Rescue Bay

Day 13 – Friday

It rained, and the wind blew through most of the night. I seriously thought we might just stay another day in Shearwater. The weather reports for the inside channels are almost non-existent. Instead, you hear of winds of 20-30 knots on the outside. I was worried that Seaforth Channel would be rough before we could get to Reid Passage. It was smooth, and we enjoyed our cruise up Reid Passage and out through Percival Narrows. We got to Rescue Bay in the rain and the principal activity for the afternoon seemed to be napping. This is a very pretty and calm location to do just that while barely rocking at anchor.
