We are saddened that Cordero Lodge, a fishing lodge north of Campbell River, was vandalized. Up to $15,000 of equipment and goods were stolen, and the property received $20,000 worth of damage. On top of this tragedy, owner Lorrie Tanguay was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer and the family had planned to sell the property before he died. Now, it is in no condition to sell.

Donate to Cordero Lodge

If you’d like to help the family, donate to their GoFundMe account.

“Any money donated will go toward materials, repairs, replacement of goods and equipment stolen and labour to restore the lodge to saleable condition. We are also looking for trades people who are willing to donate their time to join a work party to help rescue the lodge so the family can remain bedside.”
