The Port of South Whidbey is in the process of expanding its Langley marina facilities. The existing marina will continue essentially unchanged and will operate normally during construction. A new, 400-foot long floating breakwater will be installed, creating a second basin for moorage. Construction is scheduled to be completed in January 2014.
While construction is taking place, temporary traffic lanes delineated by red buoys may be in effect. Port operators ask that boaters avoid transiting, fishing, or crabbing in areas that are marked by red buoys.
